Mekvin je jurnjavu automobilom snimio s otvorenim prozorom kako bi se vidjelo da je lično on za volanom.
U filmu je igrao beskompromisnog policijskog poručnika Frenka Bulita, koji juri zločince koji su vozili crni Dodge Charger iz 1968.
Međutim, nije sve scene snimio lično. Volan je “dijelio” s vozačem kaskaderom Badom Ekinsom.
